What is CTET?

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted by CBSE. CTET Exam Levels

CTET has two papers:

CTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  • OR should have completed B.El.Ed or Diploma in Education (Special Education).

For Paper II (Classes 6 to 8)

  • Must have a Graduation degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).

  • OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

  • OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and B.Ed (as per NCTE norms).

  • OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed / B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed.
